Grafton Baptist Church has participated in Upward Basketball & Upward Cheerleading for several years and we're looking forward to our biggest year ever!
Registration
Sign up now through November 7th.
Registration forms are available at the church. Mail completed forms to GBC, P. O. Box 980, Yorktown, VA 23692; or bring completed forms and fees to any evaluation night. Deadline for registration is December 3
Costs
- Early registration cost per child for basketball is $60; after December 2, the cost is $70.
- Early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $70; after December 2, the cost is $80.
- Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $15.
- Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $15.
- Make checks payable to GBC. Please remember, once uniforms have been ordered, there will be no refunds.
Evaluations
Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.
Evaluations will take place in the GBC Community Life Center as follows:
Pre-K through 8th Grade Boys/Girls
Monday, October 10, 6pm to 8pm
Tuesday, October 11, 6pm to 8pm
Thursday, October 13, 6pm to 8pm
Friday, October 14, 6pm to 8pm
Cheerleaders are not evaluated, but are encouraged to attend one night for uniform sizing purposes.
Please wear sneakers for evaluations!
Practices begin Monday, November 7, 2011
Practices are every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday,
except for Thanksgiving week and Christmas Break -- December 19-January 2.
Games are on Saturdays, from 8am to 8pm
